You can visit San Juan by boat from any town on the lake. Boats make stops at different towns around the lake. Simply tell the Captain you would like to be dropped off at the dock at San Juan before entering a boat. A boat to San Juan will most likely also stop at San Pedro before stopping at San Juan. San Juan is also easy to visit by taxi from San Pedro, for around 10 quetzales.
